[untitled]

I almost fell in love with you
I almost called your name out loud
I almost looked in your eyes and
never looked away
I almost lost myself in you
I almost did .. I almost did ..

noun

What is in a name?
In a colour, a sound.

A face, a cry, a soft
Indian lullaby.
My skin
Caramel.
You, a milky dream,
float far away from me.

Can my
"exotic","exciting","different"
self be okay
For you?

I am Alien
to the glass-glaze
eyes
bleeding blue
into mine.
Mine dark deep
Soul of the East.

We can never be
Can we?

Welcome to the Punch

Welcome to the Punch

I have 3 words for you.

Keeping    It    British (let's keep political correctness away for now).

James McAvoy, your very own Charles Xavier -the star of X-men: First Class- is hitting home with his truly brilliant acting skills. Playing Max, the officer struggling to let go of his enemy, who finds himself in the rumble between politics and police, McAvoy charms his audience with his sky blue eyes and convincing character. His sworn enemy, played by Mark Strong (could there have been a better villain?), is the eponym of hot, melting the audience with his ferociousness and deadly stares.

While the story unravels, we find that Max(James McAvoy) is truly troubled by the incident which left him crippled and that not a day goes by that he doesn't think of Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong) and the desire to destroy the cause of all his problems. Sternwood has been in hiding in his Icelandic home far away from trouble such as Max. However, certain events force him out of his comfort zone and an unlikely pairing takes place. What was a story of vengeance becomes a story of truth and all things dangerous; a puzzle they need to solve just to survive.

The movie manages to keep you thinking besides the action and you're never really certain who is bad and who is good: maybe that's the best thing about it all. Worth watching for when you're bored and not looking for someone to rock your socks off - you'll still enjoy it all and be surprised by how good it is.

Dissertations Information

Hello to you all,

I'm writing to inform all of you that i am perfectly aware of the lack of dissertations on my 'Dissertations' page. This is because i'm currently preparing for my exams, in which i'll have to write essays INVOLUNTARILY! But it's not so bad, essays are fun!
On top of that, i'm also trying to write an essay for the 2014 Commonwealth 'Young Writers' competition. It's due in May - which is the month of my exams. I don't know if i'll be finished by then, nor if i'll even enter my essay into the competition. It's quite tough and there are already several Google searches for the question i'm also answering. I'm hoping i'll pull it off guys, so wish me luck.

That's all for now everyone. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Update

To everyone who reads this blog,

I am sorry about the lack of posts. I rule am. Exam stress has caught up with me and i've been overtaken by revision and household duties. For that reason, i was unable to write my weekly argument and have lacked reviews. I promise i'll squeeze in what i've missed out immediately. (but many not the news)...

Taa loves x

Poem 101

if i lay my troubles down before you could you stop
the pain and find an end
to all these tears cascading down as rain
give me courage and the strength to stand up on my own
to face each new day as it comes to learn to walk alone
take my fears and all my dreams keep the two apart leave nothing
but a memory impressioned as a heart present a smile upon my face and laughter in my eyes let peacefulness invade my soul
